About Me

Born in Blue Springs Missouri, lived in Albuquerque New Mexico, attended school at Brigham Young University Hawaii. I feel like all my life experiences have prepared me for this experience of serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been called to serve in the Nicaragua Managua North Mission, Spanish speaking.

I was working towards my bachelors degree in Social Work. I was homeschooled growing up, which was a great blessing and gave me opportunities and growth I would have been unable to receive otherwise. I enjoy rock climbing, learning, and creating delicious food for others to enjoy. I will eat green chile on almost anything. I love to travel and visit friends living all over the country. I want to travel and make a difference in the world. I view the hardships I have had in my life as opportunities to become stronger, develop myself, and deepen my faith. I feel great love for all those I meet, and desire to help others find joy in this life.

As a youth I developed a habit of reading my scriptures every night, which helped me to come to know my Savior Jesus Christ. In diligently praying and studying each day I was able to receive strength and guidance which blessed my life greatly. In following the commandments my desire to be a better person grew. Every day I strive to be Christlike, and I have found joy in serving and striving each day to be better than I was the day before.

I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Being a Mormon makes me happy. When I live the standards we have been given, I am enabled to live a more full and rich life. I value being a part of a ward and being able to serve others. Most importantly I value the spiritual connection I have developed, my personal conviction of the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the modern day revelation that we have available. Following Christ brings me more joy that I could find anywhere else on earth, and I know in my heart that it is true. I am so excited to share the Good News of the Gospel with the people in Nicaragua. I know that when people open their hearts and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, they will feel His love, an
d be happier than they have ever been before.

For the next 18 months, I will be inviting others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.

This experience is not going to be easy. I will most definitely return as a changed person. It is my wish that I will be able to bring about much good, and that I will be an instrument in God's hands.

Adiós, nos vemos en 18 meses, te deseo lo mejor y te amo con todo mi corazón.
