Pouch mailing: <--- best way to send letters while I am in the field

The church provides pouch mail service to my mission. Items sent by pouch mail use USPS from your location to Church headquarters, where they are forwarded to the missionary by a private courier along with other Church mail. Pouch mail leaves Church HQ each Friday. Only postcards or one-page correspondences (no envelopes) written on one side of the page may be sent through the pouch. Notebook or other light-weight paper cannot be processed through the USPS machines. Photographs are not acceptable.

Here is how they say to do it.
Lay the letter blank side down. Fold the bottom of the letter about one-third of the way up the page and crease. Fold the top of the letter to the bottom of the first fold and crease. Secure the long side with two pieces of tape about one inch in from each end, but  do not seal the ends. Write your name and complete return address in the top left corner. Affix first class postage in the top right corner. In the middle, write the missionary address.

This is great because you can send me a letter but only have to pay for a single stamp. Please use it often. :)

I was given an address to send packages to, but packages often do not reach their intended destination, and postage is ridiculously expensive. So since I don't want anyone to waste money sending me packages in the mission field, I am not giving it out. :) If you really need it for some reason, my lovely mother wrote it down somewhere and would probably give it to you if asked.
